Green Team Strategy Sessions
Weekly strategy space for high school Green Teams working on cafeteria change
You’re already doing something about food and packaging waste at your school
and you don’t want to do it alone.
Green Team Strategy Sessions are weekly, student-led gatherings where high school Green Teams and Environmental Clubs come together to:
- Troubleshoot real challenges
- Share what’s actually working
- Grow participation beyond “the same few kids”
- Design campaigns that reach the whole school
These sessions focus on cafeteria sustainability, because that’s where student ideas can spread fast if you know how to invite people in.
What actually happens in a session
Each session is a conversation, not a class.
Most weeks look like this:
- Quick check-ins from each school
- Focusing on 1–2 real challenges teams bring
- Sharing strategies, examples, and lessons learned
- Ending with “what we’re trying next”
You bring the questions.
You bring the ideas.
Cafeteria Victories facilitates the space and helps teams turn momentum into participation.
Who this is for
- Existing high school Green Teams or Environmental Clubs
- Teams already working on cafeteria-related initiatives
- Students who want more participation, not just better ideas
- Teams who are tired of doing all the work themselves
These sessions are for students only.
Advisors support behind the scenes.
Teams attend together, this is not a solo program.
