Green Team Strategy Sessions
Weekly coaching that builds student leadership capacity

Green Team Strategy Sessions support high school student leaders by giving them a structured, student-only space to practice leadership around cafeteria sustainability.

Rather than staff or volunteers carrying initiatives, these sessions help students learn how to:

  • engage peers during lunch
  • build participation beyond a small club
  • communicate ideas clearly
  • sustain momentum across the school year

Student-driven sessions are facilitated by a teacher with 24 years of classroom experience and a Master's Degree in Education. Your school-site advisors lightly support behind the scenes (ie: referrals to specific district staff and e-introductions).

What schools receive

  • Weekly facilitated sessions for student leaders
  • Cross-school peer learning
  • Leadership skills that transfer across sustainability initiatives

Format

  • District, regional, or nationwide cohorts
  • Per-school registration
  • Designed to complement existing sustainability priorities and efforts
